Oxygen Plus is designed to be lightweight and portable for optimum convenience. Our manufacturing technology – which compresses O+ oxygen in its durable aluminum canisters – provides a lot of oxygen per canister volume.
In case you’ve heard otherwise, oxygen is not weightless: The gas is very lightweight (like ambient air) with an atomic mass of 15.999 u.
FYI, shaking the canister does not tell you whether it's empty or full. Press the actuating button to be sure. The canister is completely empty – and can be recycled according to local regulations – when the oxygen flow stops while the actuating button is depressed.
Note: The oxygen flows stronger with a new canister, and dispenses more slowly as you use the canister.
